While this is yet to be fully understood it is somewhat difficult to understand how the redirect applies to international expansion.

We have certain products such as ice hockey that offer much more than many in that area which has a world wide appeal and following. It only makes sound business sense to look beyond Canada and we are of the opinion that an international domain will allow us to reach other markets”

Bodog Canada recently added a number of new products including a live dealer section that offers Baccarat, Dragon Tiger and Sic Bo. These games generally appeal more to the Asian market. This seems inline with the move to redirect to a .eu website.
